If you have the EF 24-105 II and are potentially interested in an RF 24-70F2.8, I would suggest just using the EF on the R for a while. Improvement in IQ by moving to the RF is there, but I think you will find that it is more incremental than game-changing; functionally, EF lenses work perfectly on the R, especially if you invest in the control ring adapter.

My first impressions with RF 24-105mm f2.8 L. 2 weeks ago. 20. Let’s start with the negatives. It’s big. Not as big and heavy as I thought from the pics, but big and heavy anyway.
